Pop-up Games
-Orbitz- Orbitzgames.com provides us with most of the games that we see in either pop up ads or on the top/right side of many pages. They have great ones such as paper football, baseball, basketball shootout and more.
-Call of Duty. I have seen this one a few times. It is a knockoff of the popular game Call of Duty in which you shoot the enemies, simple enough. It’s great if you want to waste some time, even though the sites that link to it are strange.
Storm Trooper Attack- A game based off of the Star Wars storm troopers. You basically just kill them, another simple game that people waste time on. Once again, this is a great way to drive traffic to your website if you don’t mind being labeled a spammer.
Political- The political ones are always one of my favorites. I recently saw one where the goal was to throw a boot at George W. Bush’s head. A few months ago there were also many that had to do with Sarah Palin. I also remember last year there being one where you are Dick Cheney and you go hunting.
Casino Games- Ones that are used a lot are Casino style games such as poker, slots, blackjack, roulette, keno, among others.
Spammers attempt to put out as many games as possible to address people who enjoy different types of entertainment. Sure these games can pass time and be fun, but they can also be responsible for some pretty nasty temporary files that can be downloaded on your computer unbeknownst to you. If you choose to play these games make sure always delete your cookies and temp files afterwards just to be safe.
