Google Video Capture

We are all familiar with YouTube—perhaps the most popular of all the video search engines currently on the market. YouTube, created to allow for the easy distribution of videos may have paved the way, but other sites are now firmly entrenched in the competition. Google’s service may very well offer YouTube their biggest competition. Google video capture allows users to quickly and easily capture videos offered by the service and to reuse them. Trying out a new video service like Google Video can be fun and rewarding and capturing the videos couldn’t be easier.

FourSquare Day: Changing the Marketing Landscape

FourSquare is a social network that allows you to “check-in” to a location, which then provides a Google Maps location of where you are. You can then share that information with other friends on FourSquare, as well as update your status on Twitter and Facebook. FourSquare Day takes this a step further by having specified location give incentives for consumers to check-into their locations to receive discounts or even free goodies.

Formspring.me, formerly formspring.com, is a social site that allows users to do what users love doing the most… interacting with each other. NASA Bombs the Moon: Sparks a Bigger Fuss

NASA recently launched a satellite to the moon in an effort to find ice/water beneath the moon’s surface. That satellite aimed at a permanently shadowed region near the moon's south pole. Well sadly for NASA, there was an overwhelming array of concerns in regards to their latest mission; some of which may be found as illogical and most, if not all, could have easily been better understood with information from NASA.

Estee Lauder has embarked on a new marketing campaign that uses internet marketing as the center of their marketing strategy.

Intuit Acquires Mint

If you have an account on Mint.com then you probably agree with me that it is a great financial management site. Multiple Media Multi-tasking

Reuters recently reported that Nielsen’s research shows “57 percent of TV viewers in the U.S. who have Internet access using both mediums at the same time at least once a month.” This comes as no surprise to me. It seems that whenever I’m watching TV I usually am on one or more social networking sites, or looking up some background information on a show.

Is Facebook Stepping on Twitter’s Toes?

Mashable reported that Facebook just introduced the ability to tag your friends in status updates. This in itself was not the issue. It seems that they are using the “@” symbol which many feel is another version of Twitter’s @Mentions feature.

Google Approved Websites for Affordable Fashion

Fall is upon us and if you are into fashion, the coming of this fashion filled season is an exciting time and always a perfect excuse to update your wardrobe. As I flip through the pages of my fashion magazines, I could feel myself getting on the emotional rollercoaster where excitement meets disenchantment with the high costs of garments and accessories.
