FourSquare Day: Changing the Marketing Landscape
FourSquare is a social network that allows you to “check-in” to a location, which then provides a Google Maps location of where you are. You can then share that information with other friends on FourSquare, as well as update your status on Twitter and Facebook. FourSquare Day takes this a step further by having specified location give incentives for consumers to check-into their locations to receive discounts or even free goodies.

Multiple Media Multi-tasking
Reuters recently reported that Nielsen’s research shows “57 percent of TV viewers in the U.S. who have Internet access using both mediums at the same time at least once a month.” This comes as no surprise to me. Is Facebook Stepping on Twitter’s Toes?
Mashable reported that Facebook just introduced the ability to tag your friends in status updates. This in itself was not the issue. It seems that they are using the “@” symbol which many feel is another version of Twitter’s @Mentions feature.
