Great Halloween Makeup Tutorials on YouTube
Halloween is a fun day for kids and adults alike. Thanks to the internet and so many people contributing and sharing information on the web, the internet has become a great resource for whacky and unusual costume ideas. I’m excited about my costume this year but really need some how-to-apply-make-up tips. There were tons of search result pages with instructions available, but what kind of makeup instruction does not include a visual aid? Luckily I found some great make up tutorial channels on YouTube to help complete the transformation one step at a time.

Using Digg & Twitter
I have just recently began enjoying the fruits of my labor when it comes to social networking and bookmarking sites ie Digg.com and Twitter. My Digg profile has gotten a lot of exposure recently. I’ve started to submit my own content and have noticed the recent spike in traffic to my site. [...]

SES (Search Engine Strategies) New York Keynote Speaker – Guy Kawasaki
This was the first time I heard Guy Kawasaki speak. Frankly, I am so new to Twitter, I didn't even know he is kind of the "Twitter King" at least right now. Mr. Kawasaki is surely at the forefront of the many that are all atwitter about Twitter. He is currently the managing director of Garage Technology Ventures (early stage venture capital firm) as well as a columnist for Entrepreneur Magazine. He is also a co-founder of Alltop, a website magazine rack of sorts.

Why Twitter Might Not Last
Okay maybe the title is going a bit too far; Twitter does have the potential to be around just like the other social networking sites (Facebook, Myspace). It is already the third largest in this category. I’m sorry people but I just don’t find Twitter beneficial to me in any way. Yes it is fun updating your Twitter status throughout the day, but think about it. Does anyone really care about your blog, what you are doing at the time, who you are, and why your tweets are so important? Or is everyone on Twitter so self indulged with marketing themselves that it has just become a broad network of narcissists who feel that their content and whatever they have to say in their tweets is important enough to spend hours following people who they may never even see on their profile once.

What Does SEO Stand For?
SEO is the acronym for Search Engine Optimization, an internet marketing strategy used by webmasters and online marketing specialists to make a webpage more visible in the organic search results. If a site is more visible in search results, the site will increase its traffic volume.

Viral Marketing – Where the Underdog Has a Chance
A few weeks ago I wrote a blog about how a certain NBA player was using viral marketing in the form of YouTube videos and a website to get fans to vote for him to be able to compete in the NBA Dunk Contest. The voting took place between three NBA rookies; the winner of this contest gets to be the fourth contestant in the Dunk Contest that will be held in February. I made a prediction that the player who ran a successful viral marketing campaign would win, regardless of playing time, stats, or even dunks seen on television. The voting ended on January 14th. I never cease to amaze myself.

All Star Marketing
Every year the NBA holds its annual All Star Weekend in various cities throughout the United States. This year the event happens to be in Phoenix Arizona. Of all the events, the Slam Dunk Competition is one that creates the most stir. Many of the greats have taken the trophy home including Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Dominique Wilkins, and Vince Carter. It is always a great honor to be invited to these events. This year, unlike years before, the last contestant will be chosen by an online voting contest held on NBA.co
