Is Content Really Necessary for SEO?
In this specific case, the prospect liked everything that we shared with her. However, she had a hard time committing to the key area of CONTENT. We require our clients to provide unique, original content to help fuel our SEO efforts. This is mandatory before we can even agree to work with a prospect. Even though our processes and methods made sense to her, she had many questions about why we would require such a thing; this got me thinking.
In today’s complex corporate world with all the technological enhancements impacting the way we do business, decision makers still question proven methods and have a hard time committing to doing more work for better results. We know for a fact that not everybody in the market, and in the business of SEO, is as candid as we are when it comes to achieving results and what it takes to achieve those results. SEO involves a lot of hard work, time, commitment, and most importantly, content. This is a definite, universal requirement for any truly effective SEO program.
So, if every single article, expert and even Google keeps mentioning this over and over again, why is it hard for people to believe and commit to? I think the answer is simple; people would rather not do it. Only committed business owners and executives truly understand that f unique fresh content with relevance and a targeted campaign will take their company’s websites to a higher level and achieve actual results.
We too, keep mentioning the same thing over and over again. Content is essential, it’s the gasoline that keeps the SEO engine going. For serious bottom line results, it’s a matter of content and an honest commitment to content.
