Sharing Digg Submissions through Facebook Connect
Quite a few months back, I considered myself a Digg rock star. Gee, aren’t I humble? I was not the most popular user, but I had the formula down packed for getting a story on the first page. To Digg’s defense, before the shouting function was turned off, it really wasn’t too much of a challenge to rank well.

Placing All Your Eggs in One Gmail Account
Recently Google was down due to server errors and it was one of the biggest topics across the social media spectrum. Within a matter of minutes the “#gmail” hashtag was a trending topic on Twitter and two days later there were 547 ReTweets and 1,209 Diggs via Mashable.com alone.

Why Branding is Important – Bruno vs. Harry Potter
Last Friday Sacha Baron Cohen’s new movie Bruno came out and topped box offices with a whopping $30.4 Million, only to see diminishing returns for the remainder of the weekend. It is unusual that a movie begins to drop just the day after, but in Bruno’s case it did. The newest installment of the Harry Potter series opened this past Wednesday with an unheard of $104 million worldwide, with more people expected to see it this coming weekend. Despite Bruno not having great success after its opening day compared to Harry Potter’s unrivaled success, both of these movies have one glaring commonality; both of these film’s online reviews were negative.
Michael Jackson’s Memorial was a Social Event
I personally did not watch the complete memorial event but with all of the information on the web via social sites, social media sites, and social news sites, I feel like I was somewhat there. Apparently, unlike most of the world, I had to work that day. The gloved one has taken over the internet since his death and the buzz has not seemed to have slowed down as of yet.

Is Social Bookmarking a Source for Late Night TV?
Being active on social media sites including news submitting and bookmarking sites have many benefits for a Search Engine Marketer. One of the nice bonus benefits to being active in these sites is that you are always being informed. Logging on to Digg or Reddit can help you catch up on the latest events and also the oddest happenings that are interesting which you otherwise might have missed if you only watch the six o’clock news on your local news station. I noticed that I’m usually aware and more informed on a lot of topics than my friends who are not in the internet marketing industry. They’re always puzzled about how I know so much about daily events. I can’t say I mind that. Knowledge is power.
Using Digg & Twitter
I have just recently began enjoying the fruits of my labor when it comes to social networking and bookmarking sites ie Digg.com and Twitter. My Digg profile has gotten a lot of exposure recently. I’ve started to submit my own content and have noticed the recent spike in traffic to my site. [...]

Digg and Be Digged
Digg has been around since November of 2004 but I never took advantage of its traffic generating potential until now. It’s a great social news site which makes it better in my opinion than just the usual social sites. Less than a month of being a digger; so far, I have made 4 stories to [...]
