New Path App Claims to Take Photo Sharing to New Level

San Francisco start up Path has release their new eponymously named app, Path, hoping to solve our problem of simply having too many friends on Facebook. According to their own blog, they claim that, “Path is the personal network. The personal network doesn’t replace your existing social network—it augments them.” What this means is that it has no intention or capability to compete with Facebook or Twitter; it just wants to be useful to (mainly) those who use their Smartphone to update their social network page.

The Smartphone that Is Environmentally Smart: The Samsung Blue Earth

In February, Samsung revealed the first solar powered touch-screen Smartphone made of recycled plastic water bottles. Not only is the phone and its charger made from recycled materials, but it has a solar panel in the back of the handset cutting down the time you will need to actually plug the phone in to an outlet to charge. Even the packaging for the phone is made of recycled paper; just in case you were wondering. There are tons of articles about the phone on the internet, but I was interested in noting who will use this phone and the reactions of consumers to this new product.
